My travel mug is leaking. What can I do?
If your travel mug starts leaking after some time, the seal is often the cause. Coffee or other drink residue can build up around the seal and prevent it from closing properly.

Remove the seal
Carefully remove the seal from the lid.

Clean thoroughly
Clean the seal and the area where it sits thoroughly and remove any residue.

Check the seal
Check the seal for cracks, deformation or other signs of damage.

Reinsert correctly
Make sure the clean seal is fully and correctly seated.

Test with water
Fill the mug with water, close it securely and check whether it is leakproof again.
In most cases, a thorough cleaning and correctly reinserting the seal will resolve the issue.
If the seal is damaged after prolonged or intensive use, or if the lid has been damaged by external impact, we recommend replacing the complete lid.
Can I clean my travel mug in the dishwasher?
Our travel mugs feature a high-quality, durable powder coating. Under normal dishwasher conditions, the coating is resistant.
However, temperatures, water pressure and wash cycles can vary between dishwashers. For this reason, we do not recommend cleaning the mug in the dishwasher on a regular basis.
For everyday cleaning, we recommend hand washing with dish soap and a soft brush or sponge.
For heavier soiling, the mug can occasionally be cleaned in the dishwasher. This combines thorough cleaning with helping to preserve the finish for as long as possible.
The lid and seal can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher.
We recommend removing the seal regularly and cleaning it thoroughly on its own.
Can I use my travel mug for carbonated drinks?
Yes. This travel mug features a screw-on lid and can also be used for carbonated drinks.
PLEASE NOTE
Carbonated drinks can build up pressure inside a closed mug. Do not shake the mug when it contains a carbonated drink. Always open the lid slowly and carefully, and point the mug away from yourself and others when opening.
How long does my travel mug keep drinks hot or cold?

Actual heat and cold retention may vary depending on the ambient temperature, the initial temperature of the drink, whether the mug has been preheated or pre-cooled, and how often it is opened. Insulation performance may also gradually decrease with prolonged use.
Our figures are based on tests conducted at normal room temperature. For the heat retention test, the mug is first preheated with hot water and then filled with boiling water. For the cold retention test, it is pre-cooled with ice water and then filled with ice water.
The stated times should therefore be considered guideline values under standardized test conditions.
